Since 2008, the Betts Centre has organised annual organ study trips across Europe. Destinations have so far included Northern and Southern Germany, Italy, Spain, France, and the Netherlands. Organ study trips usually take place during the vacation between Hilary and Trinity Terms (end of March/beginning of April) and typically last three days.

In the spring of 2025, a combined group of nearly 30 organ scholars from the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge, led by the Betts Fellow and his Cambridge counterpart, Katelyn Emerson, visited Paris. In 2026, another joint visit took place, this time to Amsterdam. In 2027, the organ scholars will visit Leipzig.
